Derived from the principles of Greenr, the floating void is an abstract of the nature that shelters and nourishes the living.  The levitating foliage comprises of the simplest 3 sided geometry – Triangles. 570 unique triangles together form an off-centered canopy acting towards the earthly gravitational pull. The installation tries to explore how a regular planar grid can be morphed into a geometric play of volumes. While adding mass to the plane it forms habitable spaces beneath it. Acting as an attractor point for the movement around it, the parametric canopy attempts to blend in its context by blurring the horizon between sky and the earth.
