The site lies next to the port. The trucks carry the goods straight from the port to this trade free zone. The site is divided into 2 main parts separated by the control gates. A retail/commercial block is located in the front of the development. This will enable the area to be accessible to the public and will also help in its branding. A control gate divides this from the inner warehouses where goods are stored. The control gate is abstracted from the form of the ships. This is will also help in imparting a brand image for the trade zone as it is visible first thing from the access road. The control gate houses offices, meeting rooms and a canteen.
